A. 
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
COIN-OPERATED DRY CLEANING ESTABLISHMENT CODE OF NEW JERSEY (1962)
That certain printed code entitled and commonly known as the "Coin-Operated Dry Cleaning Establishment Code of New Jersey (1962)" approved by the State Department of Health on March 13, 1962, for adoption by reference in accordance with law, being a code regulating the use, operation and maintenance of coin-operated or self-service dry-cleaning establishments and providing for the inspection of such establishments.
B. 
Whenever the following words, terms or phrases are used in the Coin-Operated Dry Cleaning Establishment Code of New Jersey (1962), they shall have the following meanings herein given, and said code is accordingly amended:
BOARD OF HEALTH
The Department of Health of the Township of Cedar Grove.
COIN-OPERATED OR SELF-SERVICE DRY-CLEANING ESTABLISHMENT
An establishment, store or other premises wherein there is installed and offered for use by the general public one or more machines or devices which, upon insertion of a coin, coins or token or by other means, provide self-service dry-cleaning facilities.
HEALTH AUTHORITY
The Department of Health of the Township of Cedar Grove or an authorized representative thereof.
PERMIT
Shall have the same meaning as the term "license" used in this chapter.
A. 
There is hereby adopted and incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof the whole of the Coin-Operated Dry Cleaning Establishment Code of New Jersey (1962), as amended by the definitions set forth in § 127-lB hereof, as if set forth herein at length.
B. 
In accordance with law, not less than 10 printed copies of the Coin-Operated Dry Cleaning Establishment Code of New Jersey (1962) have been placed on file in the office of the Township Clerk and in the office of the Health Officer of the Township and shall remain on file in said offices for the use and examination of the public so long as this chapter shall remain in effect.
No person shall conduct or operate or engage in the conduct or operation of a coin-operated or self-service dry-cleaning establishment, as defined in § 127-lB hereof, without first obtaining a license therefor from the Township Department of Health, which license shall be applied for and issued as provided in Section II of the Coin-Operated Dry Cleaning Establishment Code of New Jersey (1962).
A license issued under this chapter shall be for a term of one year commencing on January 1 of each year and expiring on December 31 of the year of its issuance.
The annual license fee for a license issued under this chapter shall be $20 and shall be payable to the Department of Health. No license shall be issued unless and until said license fee is paid.
Any coin-operated or self-service dry-cleaning establishment for which a license has been obtained under this chapter shall operate only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
Every coin-operated or self-service dry-cleaning establishment shall, during all operating hours, have in attendance and on duty a person trained in the use of the equipment and prepared to deal with emergencies that may arise in connection therewith.
No provision of this chapter shall be applied so as to impose any unlawful burden on either interstate commerce or any activity of the state or federal government.
Licenses issued under this chapter may be revoked or suspended by the Township Health Officer for any violation of the provisions of this chapter or of the code adopted herein by reference or the applicable provisions of any other ordinance of the Township or any false statement made in the application for the license, subject to a right of appeal as provided in Chapter 31, Health Council, Advisory, § 31-7.

A. 
Any person who violates or fails to comply with any provision of this chapter, including the Coin-Operated Dry Cleaning Establishment Code of New Jersey (1962) incorporated herein by reference, shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $2,000 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days, or both. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.

B. 
In addition to the penalty provided in Subsection A of this section, licenses under this chapter may be suspended or revoked as provided in § 127-9 hereof.
