A. 
The Borough's policy of salaries paid to certain members of the Department is hereby confirmed and codified as follows:
(1) 
Chief.
(2) 
Deputy Chief.
(3) 
Battalion Chief.
(4) 
Equipment Engineer.
(5) 
Department Engineer.
(6) 
Assistant Engineer.
(7) 
Secretary.
(8) 
Master Engineer.
B. 
The amount to be paid shall be determined by the Department within its clothing allowance appropriation for the year.

Retired firemen who have 25 years of service and reside in the Borough of Palisades Park may be paid such amount as determined by the Department within its annual appropriation of clothing allowance for the year.

A. 
The total clothing allowance allocated by the Mayor and Council for each year shall be pursuant to the budget and shall be distributed by the Mayor and Council as follows:
(1) 
Members who fail to reach a requirement of attendance at 10% of calls shall receive no clothing allowance.
(2) 
Members who respond to between 11% and 20% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(3) 
Members who respond to between 21% and 30% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(4) 
Members who respond to between 31% and 40% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(5) 
Members who respond to between 41% and 50% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(6) 
Members who respond to between 51% and 60% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(7) 
Members who respond to between 61% and 70% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(8) 
Members who respond to between 71% and 80% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
(9) 
Members who respond to between 81% and 90% of the calls and drills shall receive an amount as determined by the Department within the annual appropriation of clothing allowance.
B. 
A stipend system for members of the Palisades Park Fire Department shall be established yearly as per the Salary Ordinance.

The distribution of stipends shall be subject to the appropriation in each annual budget of the Borough of Palisades Park.

In no event shall the stipend be increased for any member of the Department unless and until this chapter is amended by the governing body.
