The part-time office of Recycling Coordinator
of the Borough of Palisades Park is hereby created. Said position
shall be part-time, with hours not to exceed 19 hours per week. Appointments
to the office of the Recycling Coordinator shall be made by a majority
of the Council. The term of office shall be three years. A vacancy
in the office shall be filled by a majority of the Council for the
unexpired term only.
It shall be the duty of the Recycling Coordinator
to enforce and administer the provisions of the Recycling Ordinances
of the Borough of Palisades Park. The Recycling Coordinator shall
be responsible for planning, coordinating and assisting in the implementation
of a recycling program.
The Recycling Coordinator shall be paid at an
annual salary of $10,000 per year. There shall be no other benefits
or compensation paid for said position.
