In the interpretation and the application of the provisions of this chapter, they shall be held to be the minimum requirements. Nothing herein contained shall be construed to prohibit or prevent the use of higher or more restrictive standards or requirements that may appear in any other lawfully applicable statutes, ordinances, regulations, rules, deed restrictions or covenants.
The Palisades Park Zoning Ordinance of 1939, together with all amendments and supplements thereto, is hereby repealed.
The Site Plan Ordinance of the Borough of Palisades Park (Ordinance No. 855), the Land Subdivision Ordinance of the Borough of Palisades Park (Ordinance No. 854) and the Land Use Procedures Ordinance of the Borough of Palisades Park (Ordinance No. 853) shall be and are hereby readopted as if more fully set forth at length herein.[1]

This chapter shall take effect following publication of notice of final adoption and approval and upon filing a copy thereof with the County Planning Board.
