For the purposes of this ordinance, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
SKATEBOARD
A platform mounted on wheels, having no mechanism or other device as a part thereof with which to steer or control the direction of movement manually while being used, operated or ridden.
A. 
No person shall use, operate or ride upon any skateboard on any street, sidewalk or publicly owned parking area within Springfield Township.
B. 
No person shall use, operate or ride upon any skateboard on private property without the specific approval of the property owner.
Any person who violates the provisions of this ordinance shall be subject to the penalties provided in Chapter 1, Article II, § 1-10, Subsection A(2).
