When any person, firm or corporation shall permit or cause any earth, stones, bricks, building material or other matter or substance to collect upon any of the streets of the Township by reason of moving the same over such streets in or upon any type of vehicle or by hauling through mud or dirt onto the highway, deposit it thereon so as to be unsightly or interfere with the sewer of said streets, or shall place earth or any other substance in the gutters by said highways so as to aid in crossing the curbs, it shall be considered a nuisance and may be dealt with as such.
When any person, firm or corporation shall commit a nuisance as defined in § 120-26 hereof and fails to remove the same within 24 hours after notice to do so, the Township may cause the same to be done and collect the cost thereof together with a penalty of 20% of such cost, in the manner provided by law for the collection of municipal claims.
