All tenants and property owners are required
to remove all snow and ice from pavements and sidewalks abutting their

that is not harmful to concrete (i.e., salt).
When any of the streets, lanes, alleys or sidewalks
of the Town, or parts thereof, are closed to public travel by order
of the Commissioners, it shall be unlawful for anyone to remove or
displace any rope, board, barricade, light, lantern or any other thing
placed in any street, lane, alley or sidewalk of the Town to designate
that such street, lane, alley or sidewalk has been closed to public
travel, or that such parts of the street, lane, alley or sidewalk
are in an unsafe and dangerous condition, unless permission shall
first be obtained from the Commissioners, who may temporarily allow
such obstruction to be removed on conditions prescribed by them.
It shall be unlawful for any person to place
or cause to be placed in or upon any avenue, street or alley of the
Town any tack, nail, piece of iron, or tin, glass or other substance
which may injure, cut or puncture any pneumatic tire.
A violation of any of the provisions of this article and sections thereof shall be a municipal infraction and a violator shall be fined as provided in Chapter
1, Article
II of this Code for each separate offense.
