A. 
Comcast of Harford County, LLC is granted a new nonexclusive franchise agreement to construct, operate, and maintain a cable television system within the Town of Bel Air, Maryland, for a period of 10 years, with an option to automatically extend for two additional terms of five years each according to the terms of the franchise agreement set forth herein, from the effective date of this act. [Note: Refer to Ord. No. 788-18.]
B. 
The Board of Town Commissioners expressly reserves the right at all times to exercise in the interest of the public full superintendence, regulation, and control in respect to all matters connected to this grant, consistent with the provisions of the attached franchise agreement[1] and to the full extent permitted by federal law.

Verizon Maryland, Inc., is granted a nonexclusive franchise to construct, install, maintain, extend and operate a cable communications system within the Town of Bel Air, Maryland, for a period of 15 years from the effective date of this ordinance.
The Board of Town Commissioners expressly reserves the right at all times to exercise, in the interest of the public, full superintendence, regulation, and control in respect to all matters connected to this grant, consistent with the provisions of the attached franchise agreement, and to the full extent permitted by federal law.
The franchise agreement is incorporated and made a part of this ordinance.[1]
