Village of Alexandria Bay, NY Chapter 20 Meetings

§ 20-1 Meeting dates.

Meeting dates for the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Alexandria Bay shall be at least once per month at such times and places as may be designated by the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Alexandria Bay from time to time by resolution.

§ 20-2 Agenda.

A. Meetings shall follow the following order of business:

(1) Roll call of members.

(2) Review of minutes.

(3) Public comment.

(4) Reports of department heads.

(5) Reports of committees.

(6) Audit bills and payroll.

(7) Appropriation.

(8) Old business.

(9) New business.

B. The Village Board of Trustees may change the order of business by majority vote on motion duly made and seconded at any meeting.

§ 20-3 Committees.

A. The Mayor of the Village of Alexandria Bay shall have the power to appoint Board members as standing committees for each department of the Village.

B. Special committees. The Village Board may from time to time designate special committees for specific purposes by resolution duly adopted by a majority of the Board.
