GENERAL REFERENCES
Claims approval and payment — See Ch. 17.
This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Cooperative Pricing Ordinance of the Township of Maplewood."
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11(5), the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a cooperative pricing agreement with the lead agency[1] or any other contracting unit within the County of Essex or adjoining counties for the purchase of work, materials and supplies.

Editor's Note: The long title of this ordinance provided, in part, that the County of Essex shall be referred to as the lead agency in this ordinance.
The lead agency[1] entering into contracts on behalf of the Township of Maplewood shall be responsible for complying with the provisions of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.) and all other provisions of the Revised Statutes of the State of New Jersey.
