This article shall be known as the "Local Law Applying the Provisions of Article 19-A of the General Municipal Law to the Establishment of Business Improvement Districts in the Town of Brighton."
The provisions of Article 19-A of the General Municipal Law are hereby made applicable to the establishment or extension of business improvement districts in the Town of Brighton.

This article shall be known as the "Monroe Avenue Business Improvement District Local Law" of the Town of Brighton, Monroe County, New York State.
The Monroe Avenue Business Improvement District is hereby established within the Town of Brighton. The area of the Business Improvement District shall consist of tax parcel nos. 137.10-1-007, 137.10-1-008 and 137.10-1-009. The improvements and services to be provided within the Monroe Avenue Business Improvement District shall be as set forth in the District Plan filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Brighton, and the cost of such improvements and services, together with the expense incurred by the town and the preparation of the plan for the District, shall be reimbursed by the District to the town. The method of assessment of District charges shall be on an ad valorem basis as set forth in said plan.
