A.Â
New buildings. All newly constructed primary buildings
shall have the street address number displayed on them as hereinafter
described before the certificate of occupancy is issued.
B.Â
Old buildings. Any existing primary buildings shall,
upon transfer of ownership or change of occupancy, have street address
numbers displayed on them as hereinafter described.
C.Â
Additions to new and old buildings. Whenever additions
are constructed in connection with new or old buildings, the new or
old buildings shall have the street address numbers displayed on them
as hereinafter described before the certificate of occupancy is issued.
A.Â
The numbers shall be a minimum of four inches high
with a minimum stroke width of 0.5 inch.

B.Â
The numbers shall be of a color or finish that contrasts
with the building color.
C.Â
The numbers shall be on the side of the building that
faces the street on which the address is located.
D.Â
The numbers shall be within 75 feet of the street
(installed on a post if necessary).
E.Â
The numbers shall be numerical (not alphabetic) in
the form of a figure (not spelled out).
