The Police Department of the Township of Brighton is hereby designated as the proper enforcement agency within the Township of Brighton to enforce all regulations adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the Township of Brighton pursuant to Section 6109 of the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code.[1]

The Police Department of the Township of Brighton is hereby authorized to enforce all maximum speed limits as are now, or may be hereafter, established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the Township of Brighton on any streets or highways within the Township of Brighton.
The Police Department of the Township of Brighton is hereby authorized to use any and all electronic, mechanical, electrical, or electrical-mechanical devices as are now, or may be hereafter, authorized for use by a second class township by the Pennsylvania Legislature or Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, including but not limited to the VASCAR - PLUS speed-timing device, to enforce all the maximum speed limits established upon the streets and highways within the Township of Brighton.
