GENERAL REFERENCES
Fire Department — See Ch. 18.
The establishment of a Police Department in and for the Borough and
the appointment of policemen by the Borough Council, subject to any applicable
civil service provisions in the law, is hereby approved.

The said Police Department shall be composed of a Chief of Police and
any other officers and patrolmen as have been or may be appointed by the Borough
Council from time to time, subject to applicable civil service provisions
in the law.
