The City zoning includes a separate floodplain zoning ordinance. For information regarding this, reference should be made to Chapter 410 of this Code.
All items not specifically covered under the provisions of this chapter shall be referred to the Plan Commission for review and recommendation, then to Council for final approval.
Annexations to or consolidations with the City shall have the same zoning district added to the Municipal Zoning Map as existed on the Extraterritorial Zoning Map, unless the annexation ordinance places the land in another district. In the event that such land existed in the A-1 District or in no zoning district, then this land will be zoned R-B District, unless the annexation ordinance places the land in another district.
Vacation of public streets and alleys shall cause the land vacated to be automatically placed in the same district as the abutting side to which the vacated land reverts.
A.
A certified copy of the Municipal Zoning Map and the Extraterritorial Zoning Map is adopted and approved with the text as part of this chapter and shall bear upon its face the attestation of the Mayor and City Clerk and shall be available for public inspection through the office of the City Clerk.[1]
