Noncriminal disposition — See Ch. 1, Art. II.
The Superintendent of Streets, for the purpose of removing or plowing snow or removing ice from any public way, is hereby authorized to remove or cause to be removed to some convenient place, including in such term a public garage, any vehicle interfering with such work, between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., and to impose liability on the person in whose name such vehicle is registered, or on any owner thereof, for the cost of such removal and for the storage charges thereof, if any.
If the owner of such vehicle or person in whose name it is registered does not, on demand, pay such cost of removal and storage charges, he shall be liable to a penalty in the sum of $300 for each offense or be subject to noncriminal disposition of the offense pursuant to Chapter 1.
