The provisions of this article imposing a time limit on parking shall not relieve any person of the duty to observe other and more restrictive provisions prohibiting or limiting the stopping, standing or parking of vehicles as set forth in N.J.S.A. 39:4-138, any other New Jersey statute or as hereinafter provided.
A. 
Hereafter there shall be no parking upon streets or sections of streets within the City of Rahway by buses and trucks between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
B. 
Any bus or truck parked or standing on streets between the aforesaid hours in violation of this section shall be deemed a public nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper control of traffic; and any police officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle in the event of such violation, in which case the owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal, before regaining possession of the vehicle.
C. 
Proper signs shall be erected by the Police Department as required by law.
D. 
The provisions of this section shall not apply to the following commercial vehicles of the passenger car type; any truck of less than two tons unloaded weight; any vehicle of a public utility as defined in N.J.S.A. 48:2-13 when such vehicle is being used to perform services which it is authorized by law to perform.
E. 
Trucks, semi-truck trailers, boat trailers, and any other towable object that may be deemed a trailer shall not be left on any street, at any time, detached from its primary vehicle of transportation. Detached trailers shall be deemed a public nuisance and a menace to the safe and proper control of traffic; and any police officer may provide for the removal of such vehicle in the event of such violation, in which case the owner shall pay the reasonable costs of the removal and storage which may result from such removal before regaining possession of the vehicle.

No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XII (§ 401-71), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII (§ 401-72), attached to and made a part of this chapter.

No person shall park a vehicle between the hours specified in Schedule XIV (§ 401-73), of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIV, attached to and made a part of this chapter. The parking restrictions set forth herein and as described in Schedule XIV shall only be in effect during the months of April through October.
No person shall stop or stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XV (§ 401-74) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XV, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XVI (§ 401-75) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XVI of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XVII (§ 401-76) except at the angle designated and only within the painted white stall lines.

No person shall park, stop, or stand a vehicle between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., unless actively engaged in the loading or unloading of goods or merchandise, in any of the locations described in Schedule XVIII, § 401-77, attached to and made a part of this chapter, which are hereby designated as loading zones.

No person shall park, stop or stand a vehicle, other than a licensed taxicab actively engaged in the transportation of passengers, in any of the locations described in Schedule XIX (§ 401-78), attached to and made a part of this chapter, which are hereby designated as taxi stands.

No person shall park, stop or stand a vehicle, other than a bus actively engaged in the transportation of passengers, in any of the locations described in Schedule XX (§ 401-79), attached to and made a part of this chapter, which are hereby designated as bus stops.
