The seal heretofore provided and used by and for the Township is hereby
established and continued as the seal of the Township.
A.Â
It shall be unlawful for any person to use the Township
Seal without first obtaining a license from the Township.
B.Â
The Township Clerk shall prepare an appropriate application
form which prospective applicants shall complete and submit to the Township
Committee for its consideration.
C.Â
The Township Committee shall consider such a request
and, if approved by the Township Committee, then, in that event, an applicant
will be allowed limited use of the Township Seal for the consideration of
$1 per year.
D.Â
The issuance of a license shall permit the licensee to
use the Township Seal in a specified publication, document or website. An
appropriate description of its identity as the Official Seal of the Township
of Wall shall accompany the seal. An informative historical description of
the significance of the seal may be provided with the use of the seal by an
applicant.
Notwithstanding the grant of a license, any person utilizing the Township
Seal pursuant to this chapter shall incorporate a disclaimer as promulgated
by the Township Clerk.
