Pursuant to Chapter 277 of the Laws of 1981 approved and
effective June 22, 1981, and in compliance with § 18 Subdivision
2(a) of the Public Officers Law of the State of New York, the Common Council
of the City of Lockport, New York hereby applies and confers the benefits
of § 18 of the Public Officers Law upon its officers and employees
and agrees to be held liable for the costs incurred under these provisions.
