A. 
A charge shall be imposed and added to any account owing to the Town of Newburgh where a tendered payment of such account was by a check or other written order which was returned for insufficient funds.[1]

B. 
Said charge shall be in the amount prescribed in Chapter 104, Fees.[2]

A. 
Whenever the account owing to the Town of Newburgh is for a tax, special ad valorem levy or special assessment, the charge shall be included on whatever list of delinquent accounts is prepared for the enforcement of the lien.
B. 
Future payments on said accounts shall, at the discretion of the Town of Newburgh's Receiver of Taxes, be required to be tendered in cash or by certified or cashier's check.
