No person shall injure or interfere with any equipment or building belonging to the Town's water system, tamper with meters, divert water from mains, use water without permission or cut into any water pipe or main.
No person, except as specifically authorized by the Town, shall take water from any public fire hydrant for any other use whatsoever than for fire purposes. The use of public fire hydrants for washing streets and flushing sewers is not permitted except upon specific authorization from the Town, and for such uses the municipality or others will be billed at the meter rates set forth in the rate schedule. If water is used from public fire hydrants without specific authorization from the Town, the quantity so used will be estimated and the user will be billed at the meter rates set forth in said rate schedule.
The curb stop may not be used by the customer for turning on or shutting off the water supply except with permission of the Water Department in the course of repairs being made by an approved plumber.
Submetering will not be permitted.
