The Board of Commissioners of Butler Township,
at a public meeting, may, upon a majority vote of a quorum of the
Board of Commissioners, sell for $1 to any not-for-profit entity which
has an office or place of business in Butler Township, either as individual
items or lots; surplus, used or abandoned personal property with an
estimated fair market value less than $1,000 pursuant to Section 1501
of the First Class Township Code, 53 P.S. § 56501.
