It is hereby declared to be unlawful and a public
nuisance for any individual to operate any type of licensed or unlicensed
motor vehicle, whether minibike, motorcycle, motor scooter, go-cart,
trail bike, automobiles, trucks, four-wheel-drive vehicles, but excluding
so-called riding lawn mowers, in any fixed location, whether public
or private property, because said operation so disturbs the peace
and tranquillity of the citizens of the Township of Butler as to endanger
the safety and welfare thereof and destroy the ability of its citizens
to enjoy their property in peaceful repose and tranquillity.
The provisions of this article shall not apply
to police and emergency vehicles and all equipment employed by contractors
or other property owners and building or demolition jobs under proper
license by the Township of Butler.

Any person or individual violating any provision
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof before a District Justice,
be subject to a fine of not less than $100 and not more than $600,
plus costs of prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine
and costs, to imprisonment for a period not to exceed 30 days.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate
any motorized vehicle, including but not limited to cars, trucks,
snowmobiles, sport utility vehicles, motorcycles, minibikes, dirt
bikes, quads and trikes on any lands owned by Butler Township within
Butler Township, except on those areas specifically built and designated
for ingress, egress and parking.

Any person violating this article shall be guilty
of a summary offense and, upon conviction thereof, shall be subject
to a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $600, plus costs of
prosecution, and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, shall
be subject to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
