The official colors of the City of Coatesville shall be royal blue and gold.
The official flag of the City of Coatesville shall measure four (4) feet on the staff and six (6) feet on the fly, and the design thereof shall consist of three (3) stripes running with the fly, the middle stripe to be gold and the top and bottom stripes to be royal blue, the middle stripe being twice the width of the top and bottom stripes, and in the center of said middle stripe shall be placed the Seal of the City of Coatesville in royal blue, the diameter of said Seal to be three-fourths (3/4) the width of the middle stripe.
It shall be unlawful to imprint or cause to be placed on or attached to any such flag any advertisement or insignia of a commercial nature, or to use the same for business or commercial purposes.
Any person violating the provisions of § 119-3 of this Article shall, upon conviction in summary proceedings, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than six hundred dollars ($600.) for each offense or to suffer imprisonment in the jail of Chester County for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment.

The corporate Seal of the City of Coatesville, shall have inscribed thereon in circular form the words "City of Coatesville, Pennsylvania," and within the circle so formed shall be placed characters emblematic of the City of Coatesville and the words "Incorporated 1915."
The impression of said Seal as prepared shall be made upon the page upon which this Article shall be recorded, as a matter of permanent record.
Unauthorized use of the Seal shall be prohibited.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this Article shall, upon conviction, be punishable by a fine of not more than six hundred dollars ($600.) or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days, or both.
