The purpose of the South Side District is to enhance the character of this neighborhood by accommodating a mix of housing types and development intensities, green space, local and regional commercial, and appropriate redevelopment and infill within the existing network of streets and alleys.
The minimum lot size for single-family detached dwellings in the district is 7,5000 square feet for A Blocks, 5,000 square feet for B Blocks, and 3,000 square feet for C Blocks.
The build-to line shall be 10 feet for A Blocks, five feet for B Blocks, and three feet for C Blocks.

In addition to other design standards of this article pertaining to lot area and width, build-to lines, side yards, building height, and impervious surface, the following shall apply:
Communications facilities, including communications towers and communications antennas mounted on an existing public utility transmission tower, building or other structure and existing communications towers and communications equipment buildings, shall meet the requirements of Part 6, Communications Facility Regulations.
