Borough of Matamoras, PA Article VIII Restrictions on Use of Streets

§ 118-55 Parking vehicles of certain capacities and dimensions.

A. No person shall park, or cause to be parked, any vehicle which is more than twenty-two (22) feet long on any of the streets or avenues in the borough.

B. The provisions of this section shall not apply when such vehicles are actually being loaded or unloaded or being repaired or serviced.

C. For the purpose of Subsection A, the "length of a vehicle" shall be deemed to mean the full length, including any trailers, trailer beds or other attachments.

§ 118-56 Violations and penalties.

Any person who shall violate any provision of § 118-55 shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars ($300.), and costs of such proceedings, or, upon default of payment of such fines and costs, by imprisonment in the county jail for a term of not more than thirty (30) days. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
