There shall be a Department of Parks and Conservation,
consisting of seven members, the head of which shall be the Chairman,
who shall be elected by its members, and an unlimited number of nonvoting
associate members authorized by and in accordance with the Revised
Statutes of Maine.
The Department of Parks and Conservation shall
be responsible for the supervision and development of all public park
and conservation programs in the Town of South Berwick.
The Department of Parks and Conservation shall
be responsible, with the advice and consent of the Town Council, for
the employment of such parks and conservation personnel as may be
approved and appointed by the Town Manager.[1]
