A. 
All full-time employees shall be entitled to holidays as follows:

Thanksgiving Day
Memorial Day
Day after Thanksgiving

B. 
All regular scheduled part-time employees shall be entitled to holiday pay on a pro rata basis if the holiday falls on their regular scheduled work day.
C. 
The Town reserves the right to pay 1 1/2 an employee's hourly rate for hours actually worked on a holiday or to grant compensatory time off equal to the number of hours actually worked on a holiday.
When a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the Town Manager shall select a substitute day (a Friday or Monday) that falls within a week of the holiday as the actual day to be observed as the official holiday.
Should a holiday fall within a vacation period, it shall not be counted as part of annual vacation allowance.
To be eligible for holiday pay, an employee must have worked his/her last scheduled shift prior to the holiday and the first scheduled shift immediately following the holiday unless such absence has received advance approval.
