A.
The following annual fees for retail licenses pertaining
to the sale of alcoholic beverages issued by the Town of Johnston
pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 3-7 are hereby amended as follows:

In addition to the above-stated fees, the license
holder shall pay all advertising costs associated with their license
which are required by Rhode Island law.
Licensees who shall fail to secure licenses
within 10 days of the date when required so to do shall have such
licenses revoked.
A.
Anyone filing a petition for a change of zone, an
application for a new liquor license, or an application for a transfer
of a liquor license shall deposit with the Town Clerk's office a certified
check, or cash, in the amount of $200 to cover the costs for advertising
and letters to abutters. This, in the case of petitions for changes
of zones, will be in addition to the $200 filing fee required for
same.
B.
Should the additional $200 deposit be more than the
final cost for the advertising and letters to abutters, the difference
will be refunded to the petitioner or licensee, and should the costs
for these be more than the $200 deposited, the petitioner or licensee
will be billed for the difference.
