Town of Johnston, RI Article IV Business License Fees

§ 125-11 Schedule of fees.

A. The following fees for business licenses issued by the Town of Johnston are hereby amended as follows:

	Amusement center			$100
		(1)	Temporary license	No fee
	Auctioneer			$100
	Auto body			$100
	Auto and truck rental			$100
	Bingo			No fee
	Bowling			$100
	Carnival			$100
	Catering			$100
	Dance			$100
	Firearms			$100
	Foundryman or other person receiving old metals for the purpose of milling the same or converting the same into casting			$10
	Game machines:
		(1)	Juke box	$10
		(2)	Mechanical amusement	$75
		(3)	Electronic and video games	$125
		(4)	Pool table	$75
			(Each machine is priced separately)
			(Six or more units requires an amusement center license)
	Gathering junk or old metals in any bag, wagon, or cart			$10
	Hair salon			$25
	Hawkers and peddlers			$50
	Junkyard			$100
	Kennel			$25
	New car license			$100
	Palmists, phrenologists and fortune tellers			$100
	Police constable			No fee
	Private detective			$150
	Recycling			$100
	Restaurant			$100
	Rubbish removal ($10 fee per truck)			$100
	Secondhand dealers			$110

B. Any business within the Town of Johnston not listed above shall be required to obtain a business operating license with an annual fee in the amount of $75.

C. Businesses seeking the following licenses shall pay the specified fee in addition to any business license fee applicable in Subsection A:
