No person under the age of 21 years shall drive upon the highways or use any other public ways in the Town without a specific destination or without proper adult supervision after 11:00 p.m.
Vehicles of any volunteer fire organization within the Town shall have the right-of-way in any street or public highway. Every driver of a vehicle on approach of any apparatus or wagon of any volunteer fire organization responding to any alarm of fire shall immediately cause such vehicle to be drawn up as near as possible to the right-hand curb and parallel thereto and stop until such apparatus or fire wagon has passed.
A. 
No person having charge of a vehicle shall place the same in any street within eight feet on either side of a fire hydrant.
B. 
The provisions of Subsection A shall be construed to prevent the standing of vehicles except for such time as is necessary to take on or leave passengers or when and where necessary to load and deliver with reasonable dispatch merchandise then in readiness for immediate loading or delivery.
It shall be unlawful for any person to allow any motor vehicle to stand or to remain parked on any street, public highway or property owned or maintained by the Town, or on any other public place in the Town, unless it has thereon the proper registration plates attached thereto, one in the front and the other in the rear of such motor vehicle as provided under the R.I.G.L. § 31-3-1 et seq.
A. 
Any police officer may remove and impound, or cause to be removed or impounded, any vehicle parked upon any street or highway in violation of a designated tow-away zone or any parking violation that would constitute an obstruction of traffic, except overtime parking.
B. 
Before any such vehicle shall be released, the owner or operator will pay for any towing and storage charges. The payment of such towing and storage charges shall not release the operator or owner of the vehicle from any penalty imposed for violation of a traffic regulation.
C. 
Any police officer in his discretion may remove any vehicle violating this section to another place or street or from such place to a police station or to some garage and there leave the same. Such vehicles as are removed pursuant to this section shall be impounded by the Chief of Police. Before any vehicle which has been removed pursuant to this section shall be released to the owner thereof, he shall pay the towing and garage charges.
A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to leave upon any Town street, road or way any unattended motor vehicle, including truck vehicles, during any snowstorm when the accumulation of snow upon such street, road or way shall exceed two inches.
B. 
The Town shall be authorized to have removed from any street, road or way any vehicle left unattended upon such street, road or way when the total accumulation of snow upon such street, road or way shall be equal to or in excess of two inches. The cost of removal and storage of such vehicle shall be charged to the owner thereof.
