[Adopted 12-10-1979 by Ord. No. 440 as Secs. 19-7 and 19-8 of the 1979 Code]
The word "park" used in this article includes the area known as “Johnston War Memorial Park.”
A. 
No. 1: Intoxicating beverages. No intoxicating beverages may be sold or consumed within the limits of the park.
B. 
No. 2: Fires. No persons shall light a fire in the park, except in places designated for that purpose by special permit, nor leave burning matter at any place.
C. 
No. 3: Paper, refuse, etc. No person shall leave paper, glass, or other refuse on the grounds or pond of the park, but will place such refuse in the receptacles that are provided.
D. 
No. 4: Damage to trees, etc. No person shall cut, remove or damage any tree, bush, plant, fence, berry, flower, or any other shrubbery, building, or other public property or affix a sign in the park, except upon authorization of proper officers.
E. 
No. 5: Hunting, trapping, etc. No person shall hunt or trap, or carry a firearm, or have any device or animal used for hunting or trapping, in the park, and no person shall injure or have in his possession thereon any wild animal, bird, bird's egg or nest.
F. 
No. 6: Animals and fowl. No person shall allow any animal or fowl upon the park, except when or where officially allowed; no person shall hitch any animal to a tree or bush.
G. 
No. 7: Profanity, etc. No person shall use profane or indecent language, or in any way annoy another person or commit any disorderly or indecent act within the limits of the park.
H. 
No. 8: Bathing, etc. No person shall bathe in the pond of the park, except when and at a place where bathing is officially allowed. Dressing in automobiles is prohibited.
I. 
No. 9: Drawing curtains on automobiles. At any time it is forbidden to draw all curtains in an automobile in the park. Before sunset some of the curtains may be drawn, but, with the exception of the rear curtain. None may be drawn after sunset.
J. 
No. 10: Parking restrictions. No person shall be allowed and no automobile may be parked at the park from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. except when camping thereon and by official permission.
K. 
No. 11: Obedience to police. No person shall refuse or neglect to obey the direction of a police officer or constable or other authorized representative of the Town.
L. 
No. 12: Speed limit, etc. No person shall ride or drive within the park at a rate of speed exceeding 10 miles per hour. No person shall ride or drive any animal, bicycle, or power propelled vehicle or any other vehicle except upon the driveway; nor ride or drive any animal, bicycle or vehicle upon other than the right hand side of the driveways, except across such driveways or to turn out for some obstruction, or for some animal, bicycle or other vehicle going in the same direction.
