It shall be unlawful for any individual to operate
or cause to be operated on Almy Reservoir (sometimes known as “Jilson
Reservoir”) or on Simmons Upper Reservoir and Simmons Lower
Reservoir (sometimes known as Upper and Lower Simmonsville Reservoirs)
any watercraft that is powered by a force other than sail, electric
or manpower.
Each violation of this article shall, upon conviction,
be punishable by a fine not exceeding $100.
This article shall take effect upon approval
of the Rhode Island Department of Natural Resources and thereupon
all ordinances and parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby
repealed.
