Town of Johnston, RI Article VII Athletic or Recreational Facilities

§ 242-15 Definitions.

The following words and terms shall have the following meanings:

ATHLETIC OR RECREATIONAL FACILITIES OWNED OR LEASED BY THE TOWN OF JOHNSTON

Any athletic or recreational facility, including, but not limited to, any indoor or outdoor playing field, ball field, basketball court, tennis court, soccer field or playground, together with the area within 150 feet thereof, which is owned or operated or leased by the Town of Johnston.

§ 242-16 Prohibited activities.

Smoking and other uses of tobacco products are hereby prohibited at any athletic or recreational facility owned or leased by the Town of Johnston.

§ 242-17 Violations and penalties.

Any person found violating this article may be subject to immediate ejection from the athletic or recreational facility and to a fine of $100.
