There is imposed upon each person conducting a bowling alley within
the Village a yearly license fee of $5 per alley or lane. Such fee shall be paid to the Village Clerk at or prior to the
commencement of each license year. Licenses will be issued by the Village
Clerk.
The license year shall be from July 1 to June 30 next following.
The Village Board, upon receipt of information which it believes to
be reliable that any operator of any bowling establishment has permitted any
boisterous or disorderly conduct, or violation of any law within its premises,
or conducts such establishment in such manner as to constitute a public or
private nuisance, may suspend or revoke the license of such establishment
upon hearing. The Village Clerk shall cause written notice to be served upon
the proprietor or operator of such establishment, stating the nature of the
alleged misconduct and the date, time and place of hearing of the matter,
which date shall be not less than 10 days after service of such notice. At
such hearing, all parties in interest will be heard, and may be represented
by counsel.
Any person who violates any provision or any rule or regulation of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty as provided in Chapter
1, General Provisions, §
1-19, of this Code.
