A.
The Highway Committee is an elected committee per state statute.
Regular meetings shall be held each month at a time and place as advertised
by the committee. Special meetings shall be held as determined necessary
by the Committee and shall be duly advertised.
B.
Committees shall keep appropriate minutes of all actions taken at
their meetings. All minutes shall be placed on the County website
within three business days of the meeting at which the minutes were
taken. Committee chairs shall present reports to the County Board
on request.
C.
Each committee shall elect its own officers unless said elections
are inconsistent with federal or Wisconsin laws.
The Highway Committee consists of five members elected at the
organizational meeting of the County Board in even-numbered years.
The Supervisors elected to the Highway Committee shall serve two years
or until a successor has been elected or appointed.
