No person shall erect, keep or permit to be
erected upon his premises within the Village any bowling lane used
or kept for hire without first having obtained a license as herein
provided.
Every person desiring a license for a premises
in which a bowling lane is used or kept for hire shall file a written
application therefor with the Village Clerk-Treasurer stating the
name of the person and the place for which such license is required.
The person and place named in the application shall be investigated
by the Finance Committee. Every license shall be signed by the Village
Clerk-Treasurer and shall name the licensee and the place wherein
he is authorized to conduct such business. The license shall not be
delivered until the applicant produces and files with the Clerk-Treasurer
a receipt showing a payment of the license fee required.
