A.
This chapter shall be deemed an exercise of the police
powers of the City of Hagerstown, Maryland, for the preservation and
protection of the public health, peace, safety and welfare, and all
the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code of the City of Hagerstown,
Maryland, shall be liberally construed for that purpose.
B.
The provisions of this chapter shall take precedence
over any ordinances, codes, regulations or parts thereof conflicting
or inconsistent herewith.
