There is hereby created a commission to be known as the "Horsham Township
Planning Commission."
The Planning Commission shall consist of seven members to be appointed
by the Township Council, with the power to organize, appoint and operate in
accordance with the provisions of the Municipalities Planning Code.[1] The Commission members shall serve for terms of four years and
no more than two members shall be reappointed or replaced during any future
calendar year.

All of the members of the Planning Commission shall be residents of
Horsham Township and shall serve without pay.
The Planning Commission shall be the planning agency of the Township
and shall have all of the powers and duties as are set forth in Section 209.1
of the Municipalities Planning Code.
