Article II Amendment Procedure

[Adopted 4-8-1992 by Ord. No. 6037]

§ 172-1 Amendments to be made by resolution.

Upon enactment of this article by the Horsham Township Council, any action related to the Horsham Township 537 Plan, including but not limited to changes, revisions, and amendments, may be effectuated by duly adopted resolution of the Horsham Township Council.

§ 172-2 Effect on prior ordinances.

A. Any and all prior ordinances adopted by the Horsham Township Council, from time to time, requiring actions related to the Township's 537 Plan, including but not limited to changes, revisions, and amendments to the 537 Plan, to be taken by means of an ordinance enacted by the Horsham Township Council are hereby amended and any such provisions are superseded by this article.

B. Prior ordinances of Council relating to the Township's 537 Plan which are not specifically repealed or rescinded herein are hereby ratified and confirmed as being in accordance with this article, and it is not intended that this article repeal, abrogate, annul, or interfere with any such existing Ordinance, enactment, resolution, rule, or regulation except as the same may be inconsistent or in conflict with any provision of this article.
