Effective with the fiscal year beginning January
1, 1976, there is hereby imposed upon each resident or inhabitant
of Horsham Township 18 years or older an annual per capita tax of
$10.
Said tax shall be paid to the Manager of Horsham
Township or his designated representative.

The Township Manager is authorized to allow
a 2% discount to each taxpayer upon the payment of the tax within
30 days from the date when the Township Manager or his designated
representative forwards to each taxpayer a bill or a notice that said
tax is due and payable. If the tax is not paid by any taxpayer within
90 days from the date when the tax collector forwards to each taxpayer
a bill or a notice that said tax is due and payable, then, a penalty
of 10% of the tax due shall be due and owing, together with interest
computed at 10% per annum until paid.
The proceeds of the tax imposed by this article
shall be paid into the general fund of the Township and used for general
Township purposes.
