Zoning Ordinance notification change.
Ordinance 921 amended Article 19, Section 1907.1 of the Elizabeth Township Code of Ordinances is hereby deleted
and replaced with the following.
Written notice of the hearing
shall be given to the public, the applicant, the Zoning Officer, the Board of
Commissioners, the Planning Commission and to any person who has made timely request
for the same. Additionally, at least one
(1) week prior to the hearing, the Zoning Officer shall mail a copy of the
notice by certified mail to each property owner within 300 feet of the entire
perimeter of the property, including those located across a street
right-of-way. The cost of mailing the
certified notices shall be paid by the applicant. Further, a notice of hearing shall be given
to other persons at such a time and in such manner as the Board of
Commissioners or the Zoning Hearing Board shall designate.
Public notice as defined herein, shall be given for
the public hearing. In addition, written
notice of said hearing shall be conspicuously posted on the affected tract or
tracts of land or water body at least one (1) week prior to the public hearing
