The sewer use charge of the Town shall be based on 75% of the
consumption of water on the premises served by the sewer system and
billed twice annually in April and October. Sewer rates shall be set
by resolution of the Town Board and shall make proper allowance for
residential and commercial users. There shall be a minimum sewer use
charge based upon the usage of 18,000 gallons of water annually.
A.
Bills for sewer user charges shall be mailed to the users on or before
the aforementioned date and payment will be due when billed. Any bill
remaining unpaid for over 45 days after being mailed shall be assessed
a late charge of 10% of the amount of the bill.
B.
Any sums due for sewer rents, fees, charges, penalties or incurred
expenses which are delinquent for more than six months shall be added
to the tax bill of the property owner and become a lien on the property.
