Any bill rendered by the Department for any
service, equipment or product provided under this chapter shall be
due within 30 days after the bill date. Failure to make payment by
said date shall result in the imposition of interest on the unpaid
balance. These bills shall draw the same interest from the time they
become due as taxes upon real estate in the Borough.

The owner of a premises will be held responsible
for the cost of water consumed and resulting sewer charges and any
other service, equipment or product provided under this chapter. In
addition to any other penalties prescribed by this chapter, any unpaid
bill for any service, equipment or product provided under this chapter
shall become a lien on the property.
