83, Art. IX, of the 1971 Code)]
The walking of motorized bicycles, motorized
scooters and unlicensed motorcycles on any public street, sidewalk
or other public right-of-way in Marple Township shall be prohibited,
except that the walking of such motorized bicycles, motorized scooters
and unlicensed motorcycles to or from a place of purchase or repair
shall not be prohibited.
Any person who shall violate the provisions
of this article shall, upon conviction thereof in a summary proceeding,
be subject to a fine of not less than $2 nor more than $25 for each
offense. In default of the payment of the fine, the offender shall
be imprisoned for a period equal to one day for each $5 or fraction
thereof of fine imposed.
