The provisions of this chapter shall be severable, and, if any of its provisions shall be held to be unconstitutional, illegal or otherwise invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of any of the remaining provisions of this chapter. It is hereby declared as the legislated intent that this chapter would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or otherwise invalid provision not been included herein.
A. 
Existing Chapter 78 of the Code of the Township of West Goshen, §§ 78-1 through and including 78-20, comprising Articles I, II, III, IV and V of Chapter 78 of the existing Code, is repealed in its entirety.[1]

B. 
The repeal of the ordinances set forth in Chapter 78 of the Code, as it presently exists, provided for in Subsection A above, shall not affect, impair or prevent the prosecution or punishment of any person for any act done or liability incurred in violation of any such code or ordinance in force immediately prior to the taking effect of this chapter.
C. 
The provisions of this chapter, insofar as they are the same as those ordinances and regulations in force immediately prior to the enactment of this chapter, are intended as a continuation of such ordinances and regulations and not as new enactments.
