This chapter shall be enforced by the Building Inspector/Code
Enforcement Officer of the village, whose duty it shall be to enforce
all provisions of this chapter as prescribed herein or such provisions
as may hereafter be enacted, and for the purpose of securing such
enforcement, the Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer or his/her
duly authorized representatives shall have the right and are hereby
empowered to enter upon the premises upon which any mobile home or
house trailer is located or about to be located and inspect the same
and all accommodations connected therewith at any reasonable time.
The individual members of the Board of Trustees and their duly authorized
representatives shall have a like power of inspection.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this
chapter shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a violation pursuant
to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not
exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days,
or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense
shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a separate
and distinct violation.
