[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees
of the Village of Orchard Park as Ch. 1, § 1-16, of the
1979 Code; amended in its entirety 3-22-1993 by L.L. No. 1-1993.
Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
The Village of Orchard Park hereby confers the
benefits of § 18 of the Public Officers Law entitled "Defense
and Indemnification of Officers and Employees of Public Entities"
upon all of the officers and employees of the said Village of Orchard
Park as if the said § 18 of the Public Officers Law was
hereinafter set forth in its entirety, and the Village of Orchard
Park hereby agrees to be held liable for any and all of the costs
incurred pursuant to the conferring of such benefits to such officers
and employees as a result of this chapter.
