As used in this chapter the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
SOLICITATION
Includes but is not limited to requests for donations, selling, chancing or distribution of merchandise.
Solicitation in county buildings is prohibited, except for the following:
A. 
Solicitation authorized by the County Commissioners.
B. 
Solicitations for charitable purposes authorized by a director in his or her department or agency.
Any attempts or unauthorized solicitation should be reported immediately to the County Administrator/Chief Clerk who will notify the Sheriff's office for immediate action.
Authorized solicitation in county buildings may be subject to municipal ordinances which require registration to solicit. Compliance with any municipal requirements is the sole responsibility of the soliciting organization or person. County authorization to solicit does not imply compliance with any applicable municipal ordinances.
