The Board of Trustees of the Village of Clayton has determined that unsupervised swimming from the docks, streets, parks and lands owned by the Village of Clayton may result in accidents or harm to people participating in such swimming and has determined that such swimming shall be prohibited.
No person shall swim or allow others to swim from any of the docks, streets, parks or lands owned by the Village of Clayton.
Any person, firm, corporation, management, promoter or those who are knowingly involved in the violation of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an amount not to exceed $250 or imprisoned for a period not to exceed 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
